HS Results: Tangla Students Fail To Make It To Toppers’ List

TANGLA: Unlike previous years, the students of educational nerve point of Udalguri district, Tangla town displayed poor performance and missed bagging any rank in the HS final exam, 2019.

Both government schools and private junior colleges failed to make a mark in terms of performance. Presidency Junior College had cent per cent pass percentage in Commerce and Science streams and 99 per cent in Arts stream. In the Science stream, Nirban Saha of the college scored 85 per cent.

National Pioneer Jr. College recorded 99 per cent pass percentage in Commerce stream with two students scoring distinction marks, in Science stream the pass percentage was 98 per cent where four secured distinction marks and in Arts stream, the pass percentage was 94 per cent with nine students securing distinction marks.

Another private institute, Arunodoi Junior College recorded 91 per cent pass percentage in Science stream with two students securing distinction. In remote Khoirabari, Khoirabari NRDS Jr. College displayed excellent overall performance with 98 per cent pass percentage in Arts stream. Jatindra Mohan Deka of Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Degree College allegedly committed suicide after he failed in the HS exam.
