HSLC Results 2019 Declared: Meghashree Borah from Lakhimpur secured First Position

Guwahati: Results of High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa Examination, 2019 was declared today morning. The pass percentage of the year is around 60.23%.

Meghashree Borah of Sankardev Shishu Bidya Niketan in Lakhimpur district of Assam obtained the first position in the HSLC examination. She scored 594 marks with letter marks in all the six subjects that include (ENGLISH, GENERAL MATHEMATICS, GENERAL SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCE, ASSAMESE, ADVANCED MATHEMATICS (E).

Male Candidates applied was around 163467 out of which 160264 candidates have appeared for the HSLC examination around 24918 candidates secured 1st Division, 34866 2nd Division, 40691 3rd Division, the pass percentage of Male candidates is around 62.69%.

Comparing to that around 179224 female candidates applied for the HSLC 2019 examination out of which 175939 candidates appeared in the examination this year. Around 23681 candidates secured 1st Division, 36154 candidates secured 2nd Division and 42198 candidates secured 3rd Division taking the pass percentage to 57.99.
