Huge win for Ankurjyoti Club in Assam Premier Club Championship Cricket

GUWAHATI: Ankurjytoi Club thrashed New Star Club by 155 runs in the Assam Premier Club Championship Cricket tie held at the Judges’ Field here today. Riding on a solid 84-run knock from Raju Kalita, Ankurjytoi put 271 runs on the board in 37.3 overs losing all their wickets.

Prahlad Gayan (63) was the other major contributor. Ajay Akela picked up 3-46. New Star Club were bowled out 116 in 30 overs. Nikhil Mittal (38) was the top scorer. Rakesh Das (3-11) was the most economic bowler in the game.
