Human traffickers bbed in Lakhimpur

Lakhimpur, September 9: A man and three eunuchs allegedly involved in human trafficking were arrested at rayanpur in Lakhimpur district. According to sources, the arrested persons are Vicky Mallik of Dhemaji Borpetia gaon,  Soni Hazarika and Kajol Doley of Dhalpur and Su Chetry of Manipur. They were arrested by rayanpur police on Monday night when they were on their way to send four girls from Banderdewa to Uttar Pradesh. With the help of information provided by Banderdewa police, they were arrested at rayanpur police check post from a bus to guwahati.  The eunuchs said that the girls with them were non-Assamese and that they were co-workers in a circus but the whole incident will be made clear only after a thorough enquiry, police sources said.
