Husband hires private detective for stalking wife, Stalkers arrested and truth revealed

Guwahati: Three men, who were allegedly following a woman right from her house to different other places that she visited on Monday in Delhi, are arrested by Delhi police on the woman’s complaint. She, right from her home in Punjabi Bagh to all other places she went, found the three men keeping an eye in her which made her complain and get the three men arrested from Khan Market. Things were complicated so far but took another even complicating twist when the men admitted that they did it on a professional basis as private detectives for her husband.

The men revealed that they are actually private detectives as her husband doubts that she is cheating on him. The three men, as identified by the police and stated by Deputy Commissioner of police (New Delhi) Madhur Verma are Hemant Aggarwal, 28, Babar Ali, 19 and Amit, 22. Of the three, Aggarwal is the owner of a private detective agency in east Delhi’s Shahdara and the other two men were his associates.

As complained by the women, she went out to shop with her friends from her home in Punjabi Bagh on Monday and could sense that she has repeatedly been followed by three men wherever she goes.

A senior police officer said, “The woman claimed that she panicked when she realised the three men were following her. She said they followed her to a hotel in Chanakyapuri, where she had gone to meet a friend over lunch.”

On being aware of the three stalkers, she panicked and managed to inform her family members about the three men who reached the spot on being informed by her. She raised an alarm immediately after her family arrived and managed to catch the three men. The shopkeepers on learning that the men have been stalking her, informed the police and police arrested them.

The officer added, “A police team reached there and brought the suspects to the Tughlak Road police station. During questioning, they identified themselves as private detectives and claimed that they were hired by the woman’s husband to spy on her. The husband was called in and he admitted that he had hired them four days ago, as he suspected that his wife was cheating on him.”

More than the arrest of the three stalkers what is more troubling fact the woman to know is that it is her husband who has hired the men to keep an eye on her and she is being suspected of cheating on him.
