HYC hails polytechnic principal's decision

SHILLONG, Nov 4: The Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC), West Jaintia Circle has lauded the principal of Polytechnic Jowai for removing two non-tribals from the institute as demanded by the Council. The Council under the leadership of its president Damanleki Lathong on August 23, 2016 had met the principal of the institution and demanded the immediate removal of two non-tribal’s mely R.B. Shatri and Tull Thapa. “The Council had recently met the principal of the institution on October 19, and he had assured that the two non-tribal’s had been removed and in their place Sabastian Dhar and Hamedonhi Shylla had been appointed to fill the vacant posts,” a statement issued by the HYC, West Jaintia Circle on Friday said.
