I am with the revolutionary movement, but not with rebellious activities: Pranamoy Rajguru

Guwahati: Assam Police on Friday produced both the suspected accused of Guwahati Grenade Blast at Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Kamrup (M).

Suspects identified as Pranamoy Rajguru and Actress Janabee Saikia were apprehended from a rented house (House No 10) situated at Niharika By-lane at Namghar Path at Panjabari area on Thursday.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Pranamoy Rajguru, a suspected member of Pro-talk ULFA faction led by Arabindo Rajkhowa said, “I am on the side of sovereignty of my state, this revolution will go on, my nation my community is my ego, Assam was never part of India and will never be in the future as well. If loving your nation is a crime, then yes, I am a criminal.”

Also, stating about explosives recovered from the rented house on Thursday, Rajguru claimed that recovered materials from the house were not explosives.

“I am with the revolutionary movement, but not with rebellious activities,” added Rajguru

It is to be noted that two cases were registered against Pranamoy Rajguru and Janabee Saikia at Geetanagar Police station Case No 210/19 under section 325/326/307 of the Indian Penal Code, R/W section 3/5 ES Act and R/W section 10/13/16/20 UA (P) Act. The second case was lodged at Satgaon Police Station Case No 147/19 under section 121, 121(A), 122 of the Indian Penal Code and 125 1(b) Arms Act.

Meanwhile, CJM Court orders 10 days police remand to both the suspected accused of Guwahati Bomb Blast Case.
