If Congress Wins by Mistake, Pakistan will Celebrate Diwali: Vijay Rupani

Guwahati: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Sunday claimed that if the Congress wins by mistake in the Lok Sabha election, Pakistan will celebrate Diwali on their victory.

At the launch of the Bharatiya Janata Party's 'Vijay Sankalp' rally at Mehsana on Sunday, Rupani said that the victory of Congress is not going to happen without any doubt but when the results of the Lok Sabha election will be announced on May 23 and accidentally if the Congress wins by mistake, then Pakistan will celebrate Diwali on their victory because the Congress is associated with it.

Rupani further said that the people of the country will ensure Narendra Modi's win on May 23 after which there will be a grief in Pakistan.

The Gujarat Chief Minister also criticized Congress leader Sam Pitroda for demanding proof of the Balakot Air Strike which was carried out by the Indian Air Force after the Pulwama terror attack.

Slamming the Congress leader, Rupani said, "The world knows that Pakistan give shelters to terrorists and Congress President Rahul Gandhi's teacher Sam Pitroda says that it is wrong to blame the entire Pakistan for the act of five to seven youths who carried out the Pulwama suicide bomb attack on February 14. Congress leader speaks the language of Pakistan."

The Chief Minister also accused the opposition for insulting the armed forces and asked, "Who are you trying to support by negating the words spoken by the heads of the armed forces after the Balakot Air Strike?"

Rupani, while responding to the accusations of the previous National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government freed Jaish-e-Mohammad Chief Masood Azhar who then went to form terror outfit, he alleged that it was the former Congress who had released several terrorists during its tenure.

The Chief Minister also accused the Congress of indulging in vote-bank politics and encouraging separatist forces.

Rupani further said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah, the sons of Gujarat are working to make India stand tall among the league of nations but the oppositions are uniting only with the aim of defeating Modiji.

"The opposition parties have come together to defeat Modiji when he is moving in the direction of making India a 'Ram Rajya'. The Congress, terrorists, corrupts, naxals, communists, Mayawati, Akhilesh, Mamata, Chandrababu all selfish people have come together and wants to overcome the Prime Minister," said Rupani.
