Illegal Band saw mill seized at Nagaon

NAGAON: Sleuths of foresters of Nagaon Sadar range, led by Ranger Nepal Mandal, on Monday morning busted an illegal band sawmill at Khundamorachuk village in greater Barhampur area.

According to sources, the mill was owned by Mantu Saikia of the same village. The sleuths, later on, seized all kinds of machinery tools and equipment and brought them to the range office. The sources added that the owner of the mill had been running the bandsaw mill since long.
