Illegal liquor seized

 Gohpur, April 22: Gohpur excise department and Gohpur Police maged to seize 12 cartons of illegal Aruchali liquor on Saturday morning at Gohpur railway station.

 The cartons of liquor were being dispatched to Dhekiajuli from Gohpur by train. Traffickers ran away from the spot. Gohpur AASU, AJYCP and AASCSU have demanded eviction of all illegal liquor shops and dens in Gohpur subdivision. Illegal local and foreign liquor business is growing day-by-day and this is affecting the social environment of Gohpur subdivision.
