Illegal Sawmill Seized from Nonoi Chariali in Nagaon, Assam

NAGAON, July 24: Forest department officials, led by Nagaon sadar ranger Nepal Ch Mandal, on Tuesday morning seized an illegal bond sawmill from Bebejia Jamuguri area and also an illegal stone-laden truck from Nonoi chariali area. According to sources, the sawmill as well as the stone-laden truck (AS 02 0279) were seized by the forest officials during the routine drive that had been started a couple of months ago. The sources added further that the sawmill was owned by one Sirajul Islam.
