Illegal timber and wood mill seized

Tamulpur, April 25: Kumarikata forest range office launched an operation on Monday evening  at Kawli Notunbasti with the help of SSB under Tamulpur subdivision in the district of Baksa. In the operation, the forest department seized illegal valuable timber worth almost Rs. 2.5 lakh along with an illegal wooden mill during the operation. All the seized timber and the wooden mill with machine were brought to Kumarikata forest range office.  Forest officials Bharat Deka, Birendrath Boro, Bhaktiram Kalita, Amal Kalita along with SSB officer and jawans were present in the operation.
