Illegal wood and wood mill seized

Bongaigaon, Feb 1:  Anti-Corruption and Crime Investigation Association, an NGO, in association with the Forest Department of Assam, seized a large quantity of illegal wood and one illegal wood mill on Wednesday from the forest area of Kalugaon village in Kokrajhar district.  A member of the NGO said that they seized the wood and wood mill following information. He said that the value of the seized Suji and Teak wood was about Rs 25 lakh to Rs 30 lakh.
