IndiGo Flight Chooses Emergency Landing at Ahmedabad after Tyre Burst in Take-off

A sudden incident of tyre burst taking place in an IndiGo Airlines flight while it was taking off from Mumbai to Ahmedabad forced the flight to request for an emergency landing at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad. It all took place when the flight had just taken off from the Mumbai airport on Wednesday evening and the pilot of flight 6E361, A320 realized that a tyre of the flight has burst while taking off from the runway.

The IndiGo Airlines flight was carrying a total of 185 passengers and following the emergency landing request sent by the pilots of the flight, Ahmedabad Airport implemented immediate emergency procedures to make sure that the flight lands without causing any damage to the passengers onboard. The plane, however, landed safely without any of the passengers being hurt at 7.21 pm in the Ahmedabad airport.

A detailed inspection of the aircraft has been ordered by the authority. The aircraft will be cleared for further flight following proper inspections and a change of the wheel.
