ZIRO, June 27: The District Task Force for Immunization reviewed the performance of 1st, 2nd and 3rd round of Special Intensified Mission Indradhanush (SIMI) in the office of the Deputy Commissioner here on Wednesday.

Chairing the meeting DC Chukhu Takar called for mass effort from all the stakeholders for the success of such health programmes. Terming the doctors as second to God for humankind, he exhorted them to work with a missionary zeal. Speaking on Ayushman Bharat scheme he called for elaborate assessment before selecting any beneficiaries. He further directed the Chief Manager, SBI, Ziro to make available adequately account opening forms to facilitate Dulhari Kanya scheme, where Rs 20,000 is deposited for a girl child born after 2017.
