Inner Wheel Club of Hailakandi adopts Ananta Vidya Niketan school

Hailakandi: Inner Wheel Club of Hailakandi adopted Ananta Vidya Niketan under Happy School project.

Desks and benches were distributed in the hallowed memory of Inner Wheel Club member late Tapashi Paul by Rotarian Samiran Paul. Drinking water facility with a 32-litre capacity filter was sponsored by Inner Wheel Club member Rupali Bhattacharjee in memory of her late husband Gautam Bhattacharjee.

Apart from this, handwashes and toilet cleaning materials were also provided as a part of Wash in School Programme. Such programmes were also carried out in three schools viz., Ananta Vidya Niketan, Graham MV School and Harakishore High School. The teachers of all the schools cooperated and expressed their happiness to be part of the club’s initiative. The whole programme was coordinated by the President, Inner Wheel Club of Hailakandi, Tanushree Chanda along with some of her club members.
