Inter Frontier Football begins

GUWAHATI, May 28: The 4th Inter Frontier Football competition was got under way at ITBP football ground, Sonapur today. The championship was inaugurated by RN Singh, DIG, Sector Head Quarter Tezpur. Rajendra Singh Chandel, Commandant, 33rd Bn ITBP was also present in the inaugural function.

Addressing the gathering in the inaugural function RN Singh said, “This type of competition is very important as it helps to find out hidden talent.”

Altogether 96 players, team managers and coaches from Northern, Eastern, North-East, North-West Frontiers and Logistics and Communication Zone of ITBP are participating in the three-day championship. The players who will be selected from this competition will get the opportunities to represent in the Central Football team of ITBP.
