Intertiol Women's Day celebrated in Dhubri

Dhubri, March 8: Along with the rest of the tion, under the initiative of the district division of Dhubri Women’s Congress Committee, a programme was held at Assam Sangh Bhavan on Sunday in order to celebrate Intertiol Women’ Day. Baby Begum, chairperson of the district division of Dhubri Women’s Congress, presided over the programme. Sushil Chandra Roy, chairman of Dhubri Congress committee, was present as the chief guest. Former MLA zirul Umar, secretary of the District Congress Committee, Ashera Banu, and other significant people were present. The importance of women being politically aware was emphasized upon by Baby Begum.
