Intertiol Yoga Day observed

MARGHERITA, June 23: The 2nd Intertiol Day of Yoga was observed at Margherita India Club recently which was organized by Yog Vidya Pirtham NGO of Margherita. The programme began with the lightning of lamp by Guruji Himadri Purukayastha.  Deep Acharjee, secretary of Yog Vidya Pitham NGO delivered his speech on the aims and objectives of yoga and urged people to practice yoga every day for a healthy body and mind. A yoga demonstration and drama was also performed by school students. Guruji Himadri Purukayastha said that yoga was a science.  Prizes were also distributed among the students who participated in various competition held  at the eve of Intertiol Day of Yoga.
