Investors keen to invest in Tripura

Agartala, April 13:  The BJP-led Tripura government is expecting some significant investment in the State as many industrialists and investors are showing interest to invest in the State and also enquiring about the business prospect in the State.

Official sources said most of the investors are interested in health, bamboo, and rubber based industries. Some of the entrepreneurs also came up with proposals for investment in medium size industries. Tourism is also in the list of priority for many investors.

Sources in the State secretariat said some of the investors have already visited the State and wanted to meet Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in that regard. However, the State government is not taking any hurried step as previously many investors had set up industries but fled away after taking advantage of the State’s Industrial Policy.
