Iron pipes recovered

JOYSAGAR, April 20: Sivasagar Police with the assistance of Joysagar Police recovered a good number of iron pipes from the Rudrasagar area under Joysagar Police Station on Friday. The iron pipes belonging to ONGC, Sivasagar have been recovered from an artificial pond where the pipes were kept hidden. Sources said that the artificial pond was found in the patta land of one Paresh Das of Joysagar. The sources also alleged that Paresh Das was one of the suspects who were involved in ONGC iron pipe theft incident which took place in 2016 and 2017.
