Itafort CHC needs uplift

Itanagar, April 27: The Itafort Community Health Centre (CHC) here is in urgent need of infrastructure upgrade and mobility support in the form of an ambulance, CHC’s MO (in-charge) Dr Kabak Tamar said. Speaking during a Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting chaired by Capital Complex EAC Hengo Basar on Thursday, Dr Tamar said there is a need to ensure “effective convergence” with all the line departments. He presented the status report on the CHC’s service delivery and also mentioned about the recently set up labour room and non-communicable disease facility at the centre. The EAC on his part offered suggestions on improving public health delivery and assured of all possible assistance from his end.
