Itanagar Football Tournament Abor FC down Narmi FC

CHIMPU: Abor FC finished the Group-D match in emphatic style on Sunday when they outclassed a feeble Narmi FC 5-0 in the Itanagar Solung Football Tournament-2018 played at the AAPBn ground, Chimpu.

Mibom Talli, Ojing Yirang, Jgonson Rinya, Arun Taying and Sunny Kotin scored one goal each for the winning team. Sunny Kotin of Abor FC was adjudged player of the match. Earlier, in the morning RGU FC crushed Gidum FC 6-1. Rambong Darang scored a brilliant hat-trick while Gemin Modi, Subash Taloh and Indro Darin netted one goal each for RGU FC. Lone goal for Gidum FC was scored by Ajay Boko.

In the Veteran Category, Siang United FC thrashed Solung United FC 4-1. Obang Minki scored two goals while Olom Darin and Tapang Kopak added one goal each fior Siang UFC. Abu Tayeng scored the lone goal for Solung UFC.

Meanwhile, the quarter final matches are starting from tomorrow with Doying Gollong FC locking horn with Banggo UFC while Siang UFC will take on Naharlagun Solung FC.
