ITBP medical camp benefits about 100 people

Itagar, April 8: Coinciding with the World Health Day, the 31st Battalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Force on Saturday conducted a medical camp-cum-health awareness programme at Government Primary School Yupia, near here, benefitting almost 100 people, including aged ones from the locality.

A press release issued by the ITBP said that free health check and counseling by Dr Ranju Teron, SMO, 31st Bn ITBP has benefitted many people during the camp. Free medicines for commonly occurring ailments were also provided to the local villagers.

The medical camp was organized under the guidance of PN Prasad, Commandant, 31st Bn ITBP. The Commandant, officers of ITBP, GBs, school headmaster and other prominent persons also took part in the programme to enhance awareness on health issues among the locals following the slogan 'Health for All'.
