ITF Futures meet at Jorhat

GUWAHATI, Feb 17: Jorhat Men’s Futures, the World Ranking Tourment, will kick off at Jorhat Tennis Club in resurfaced courts on Saturday. The signing-in for the Qualifying Draw has been a full house of 32 players of which three are from abroad- Netherlands, Great Britain and Australia.

Meanwhile Five players from the the North East will be playing this ITF Futures. Two of them, both from Assam, are in the Main Draw. Among the remaining three one from Aruchal Pradesh and another two from Assam and they  are in the Qualifying Rounds. The Wild Cards have been given to four players in main draw and six in the qualifying round.

List of players who received Wild Card:

Main Draw: Parikshit Somanì. Sheikh Mohammed Iftikher, Shahbaaz Khan, Adil Kalyanpur. Qualifying round: Rohan Gogoi, Mingkhi Talom, Vasisht Cheruku, Anshuman Gulia, Koonwar Gupta, Jagmeet Singh.

List of top eight seedes (main draw): N.Sriram Balaji, Vishnu Vardhan, Karunuday Singh, Markos Kalovelonis, Sasi Kumar Mukund, N.Vijay Sunder Prasanth, Sidhart Rawas and Jose Fco Vidalazorin( Spain ).
