JB College incident condemned

TINSUKIA, Feb 14: The Cell for Women Studies and Development (CWSD) Tinsukia College, while condemning the recent JB College sexual harassment case, expressed solidarity with Subhaluxmee and took out posters and sigture campaign within the college premises on Tuesday. The posters stated ‘We are with Subhaluxmee’, ‘We respect men who respect women’ and ‘Refrain from playing politics with women’s sentiments’. Anja Goswami, convener of CWSD said Subhaluxmee was symbolic to women’s uprising against social injustice.
