Jongge Yirang wishes Arunachal Pradesh soccer team for National Football Championship

PASIGHAT: Dy. Director of School Education, Pasighat Jongge Yirang wished the football team from Government Higher Secondary School, Bilat of East Siang district who will be representing the state at the 64th School Game Federation of India (SGFI), National Football Championship (NFC) to be held at Jhunjhunu at Rajasthan on Monday.

Yirang, while wishing the team a grant success, advised them to maintain the true sportsmanship spirit while displaying best sporting during the national event making the whole state proud.

The team is led by Tasi Padung as Chief-de-Mission-cum-manager and Vijay Shankar Ray as team coach.

According to sources, under the supervision of Principal GHSS Bilat Tagin Tatan and District coordinator sports and youth services East Siang District Tanya Padung, the 16 members' team was provided proper coaching at Bilat for participation in the tournament.

The school will represent the State in SGFI National football championship 2018 at Jhunjhunu Rajasthan which is scheduled to kick off on November 15, 2018.
