Jorhat DSP (HQ) Mridul Ahmed passes away

JORHAT: Jorhat DSP (HQ) Mridul Ahmed passed away on Wednesday morning at Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh due to cardiac arrest. He was 59. He leaves behind his mother, wife and a daughter. Departmental last respect was paid at Jorhat Police Reserve in presence of senior police officials Dr. RP Mina-ADGP (Eastern Ranga), Vaibhov Nimbalkar, Jorhat Superintendent of Police, Additional SPs and other officials. His body was taken to his native place Nagaon and will be brought back to Jorhat where janaja will be performed at Cinnamora, Jorhat on Thursday, informed family sources.
