Kaavya clinches double crown

GUWAHATI, Nov 24: Kaavya Sawhney of India clinched double crown in the ITF World Ranking Junior Tennis Championship which concluded at the All Assam Tennis Association complex, Chachal here today. In the Girls singles under 18 years age group Kaavya defeated Aanya Goel of USA 7-5, 6-1 in the fil. She also lifted the doubles title yesterday. In the Boys under 18 singles fil top seed Rishabh Sharda of India ousted 2nd seed Dev Javia also from India in straight sets 7-5,7-5 on way to lift the title.

RESULTS: Boys Singles Fil: Rishabh Sharda (IND) def 2nd seed Dev Javia 7-5, 7-5. Girls singles fil: Kaavya Sawhney (IND) def Aanya Goel (USA) 7-5, 6-1.
