Khandu stands firm against corruption

Itanagar, May 13: Standing firm on corruption-free governance, Chief Minister Pema Khandu sent a stern message to the lawmakers to shun the old practices of exhibiting poor-work culture as he suggested that law will take its own course to punish anyone found to be involved in any corrupt activity.

The Chief Minister was addressing the BJP leaders and party workers on the closing day of the two-day BJP State executive meeting at Ziro in Lower Subansiri district on Saturday.

Party's national general secretary Ram Madhav while advocating for a strong and vibrant India urged the BJP workers to work together as the BJP follows integral humanism and work towards unity, dignity and prosperity of the country.

He also praised the State government led by Khandu for its developmental reforms in the State.

In his speech, Khandu commended the role of the State BJP president Tapir Gao for his positive role in the performance of the government by bringing effective coordination between the party and the State government.

He appealed to the party workers to always maintain bridge between the people and the workers and forward the message of unity, dignity and prosperity to the people at the grassroots.

In his presidential speech, Gao said that legislators should not think only about their own constituencies but should also think for the development of the State.
