KK Handiqui State Open University organizes workshop

DHEKIAJULI, May 1: A workshop organized by the Sonitpur District Study Centre of KK Handiqui State Open University, was held in Rangapara College recently. The workshop was attended by all the Principals, centres-in-charge, coorditors and teachers of all the study centres in Sonitpur district. Earlier in the morning, the workshop was iugurated by Dr Dibyajyoti Mahanta, Dean, Study Centre, KK Handiqui State Open University, Guwahati. Dr Mahanta in his speech said that the only State open university of the Northeast, Krish Kanta Handiqui State Open University has fulfilled the dreams of this region. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr Hitesh Deka said that present day youths needed skill training. The workshop was attended by students of LOKD College, Dhekiajuli, Tezpur College, Biswath College, Sootia College, Sonitpur Dhatri Sewa Samity, Dhekiajuli and others. Dr Limpon Borah, Deputy Registrar, KKHSOU, offered the vote of thanks.
