KMSS begins hunger strike

FROM OUR Correspondent
Bongaigaon, September 11: The Bongaigaon District Committee of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti  today started a 30-hour long hunger strike at Gandhi field here from 11 am.  Talking to reporters Hirokjyoti Barman, general secretary of KMSS Bongaigaon district committee said that decision of Modi Government to give shelter to minority refuges in India will destroy Assam.  “Assam will be highly affected due this decision of the Central Government. Centre should not think Assam as a garbage dumping  ground. Not a single man from other country who came to Assam after 1971, will not get citizenship here. Otherwise Modi Government will have to face a massive democratic agitation,” he said.
