‘Krodh - The Devil Inside’ Set to Release

A new Assamese film 'Krodh - The Devil Inside' is all set to release in theatres across the State on July 13. This new film depicts rising incidents of rape and sexual violence, which continue to be harrowing issues in the country. And that, despite the fact that the government has pledged to ensure women a full and equal role in every aspect of the society.

Director Monnoj Baishya has been careful not to turn it into another exploitative venture, as has been the case with movies of such genre.

However, one will have to watch the movie to draw out any conclusions.

The film stars Ripamoni Saikia, Poran Kamal, Pankaj Dalani, Bhaben Baishya, Pinaki Mitra, Vivekanand Borah, Dipak Bania, Bibul Das, Manik Bora, Makul Mali, Raju Swargiary, Dwiban Baishya, etc.

The film is produced by Pankaj Dalani under the banner of Shakti Film Production. The film is scripted by the director Baishya himself, while it is edited by Tutul, the VFX has been done by Vivekanand Borah, and the music is scored by Deep Rajbangshi.
