Lai khuta of Mukoli Bihu function erected

JOYSAGAR, April 12: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) Sivasagar district committee will organize the 31th Mukoli Bihu on April 15 at Boarding Field in Sivasagar town. AASU Sivasagar district committee has been celebrating Bohag Bihu centrally with the cooperation of various indigenous tribes of the district every year since the past 30 years. The lai khuta of the function was erected on Wednesday where hundreds of local people, including members of different organizations took part. The lai khuta was formally erected by the Xatradhikar of Ujjanial Xatra in Sivasagar, Pandit Laxmikanta Mahanta. Meanwhile, the social organization Aaikya has completed glorious 25 years of celebrating Rongali Bihu and it will celebrate the silver jubilee year on April 14. For this, the lai khuta was erected on Wednesday in Temple Road of the town.
