Lakhimpur emerge champs in 6th All Assam Kick Boxing Championship

NORTH LAKHIMPUR: The 6th All Assam Kick Boxing Championship, 5th All Assam Professional Title Belt Championship and 2nd All Assam JSKA Open Karate Championship held at Tyag Khsetra in North Lakhimpur from January 3 to 6. More than 1000 players across the State participated in the events. Master Yogesh Shadh, the president of Kickboxing Federation of India inaugurated the Kick Boxing Championship while Uday Sankar Hazarika inaugurated the 5th All Assam Professional Title Belt Championship.

In the tournament, Lakhimpur District appeared as the Best Team while Biswanath District team achieved the 1st runner up, Baksa district 2nd runner up and Dibrugarh district best discipline team. Master V S Rawat, the Technical Chairman of Kickboxing Federation of India was present in the events as the supervisor of the Championship. On the other hand, the 2nd All Assam JSKA Open Karate Championship concluded on January 5. Lakhimpur district team was potent enough to establish its impact in this event too, achieving the best team title while Biswanath district appeared as 1st runner up and Dhemaji district as 2nd runner up.
