Lakhimpur MASS condoles Atal Bihari Vajpayee ’s death

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district unit of Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti (MASS) expressed profound grief at the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

“Vajpayee was a friendly politician to Assam and the States of the north-eastern region. Expressing special honour to the people of the region, he heralded a new horizon of development in the territory of the Seven Sisters, including Sikkim, during his tenure as Prime Minister. The death of the ideological statesman, who had also influenced global politics, left a void in Indian democracy. Expressing deep condolence at his death, our organization is praying for the eternal peace of the deported soul,” said Raju Singha, the secretary of Lakhimpur district unit of MASS.
