Lifetime Achievement Award for J K Sarawgi

Guwahati,  Feb 10:— Jai Kumar Sarawgi senior Partner of M/s Chbaganmal Sarawgi &Sons, an oldest leading petroleum firm of North East and the successor of M/s, Saligram Rai Chunilal Bahadur & Co (S.R.C.B.) a more than 150 year old firm was conferred with the “Life time Achievement Award” at recently held Annual Dealers Convention, 2016 at Pobitory Resort , Guwahati. This award was presented by the Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation, IASO, North East. The convention was attended by more than 500 dealer delegates.

This award was conferred on him for his outstanding work in retail trade with dedication, hard work and deep knowledge of the trade for five decades. Earlier also in 1995 he was awarded by the General Mager of Assam Oil Division, Digboi -25 years’ achievement- for his continuous support in retail trade. He was one of the founders of North East Indian Petroleum Dealers’ Association. After working on all posts he is currently the Advisor of the same. He is a past District Governor of Lions Clubs Intertiol and associated with many social and religious organisations. This was stated in a press release.
