Lightning strike kills boy

HOJAI, May 7: A 10- year old boy died due to lightning in Murajhar area of Hojai subdivision in gaon district on Wednesday. The incident happened at Ghanipur area under Murajhar police station. The deceased has been identified as Kalam Islam (10), son of Lutuf Rahman, a resident of Udhamari village. The boy was returning home from Ghanipur Bazar when lightning struck and he died on the spot.
