Loan sanction letters distributed in Dhubri

DHUBRI: Loan sanction letters of Rs 2 lakh were distributed among 230 youth entrepreneurs under SVAYEM scheme in a function held at Dhubri Xahitya Xabha Bhawan on Thursday. After ceremonial launching of the programme by CM Sonowal, Golokganj and Bilasipara (East) legislators, Ashwani Roy Sarkar and Ashok Kumar Singhi respectively distributed the loan sanctioned letters among the beneficiaries.

Speaking in the meeting, BJP Golokganj legislator, Ashwani Roy Sarkar informed that 4468 target was fixed to provide loan to youths of Dhubri district while 3864 applicants applied for the loan to start the various trade and commerce and out of this 1276 applicants were selected by the banks. Addressing the function, BJP Bilasipara (East) legislator, Ashok Kumar Singhi said that first and foremost duty of the beneficiaries is to payback the loan to the banks by doing healthy trade and production.
