Lower Dibang Valley Toppers Felicitate

ROING: A felicitation program of CBSE toppers of Lower Dibang Valley district was organized by the Department of Education at the DC’s Conference Hall here on Monday.

DC Mitali Namchoom congratulated all the achievers and said that the district was proud of their achievements and the improved performance of the students of the district. She advised the students to study hard, shoulder their responsibilities sensibly and makes a mark in this fiercely competitive world.

DC also advised them to set goals, be informed about choices available and plan forward to get the desired outcomes in life. Block Education Officer (BEO) O Langkam advised parents not to force their wards into subjects according to the marks scored, but instead asked them to focus on the interests and desires of the student, which would make a difference in their future performance and outcomes in life.

Delong Modi (90.8%) and Ogam Danggen (88%) of class X, Pirgap Lego (86.2%) and Teresa Tayeng (76.2%) of class XII humanities, Thrombo Tayu (77.6%) and Parmita Rani Das (74.8%) of class XII science, Pilli Linggi (91.8%) and Kritika Sharma (86.4%) of class XII commerce were felicitated with medals, certificates and cash award by the DC.
