Madhyamik teachers’ biennial conference concludes in Udalguri

UDALGURI: The 13th biennial conference of Udalguri Jila Madhyamik Sikshak aru Karmachari Santha was held at Bholabari High School with a day long programme. The flag was hoisted by Bhaben Chandra Deka, the president of Udalguri Jila Madhyamik Sikshak aru Karmachari Santha and the school flag was hoisted by Dhaneswar Deka, the headmaster of Bholabari High School. This was followed by smriti tarpan which was inaugurated by Bandhuram Sahara, the assistant teacher of Kalaigaon HS School.

Satya Kumar Nath, the headmaster of Paschim Silpota High School Satya Kumar Nath garlanded the replica of Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwalla. Govinda Deka, the assistant teacher of Meskapukhuri High School and Anandi Deka, the SMC president of Bholabari High School planted tree saplings on the occasion. The representatives meet was inaugurated by Gajendra Das, the vice president of Asom Madhyamik Sikshak aru Karmachari Santha and presided over by Bhaben Chandra Deka the president of AMSKS. Krishna Kanta Mizar, the State Executive Member of AMSKS and Dilip Bora, the senior leader interacted with the teacher representatives. The teachers have expressed deep concern over the inordinate delay on payment of salary of the employees. The representatives have demanded a separate pay scale for secondary teachers.
