Maj invites MNCs to invest in Aruchal

Itagar, April 12: The entrepreneur-cum- progressive farmer Likha Maj on Wednesday attended the All India Mega Food Park promoter’s summit at Aero City in New Delhi. The programme was attended by stakeholders of many multitiol companies such as Coke, Mother Diary, Walmart, HUL and Patanjali. Maj, while addressing the summit, shared that the present Pema Khandu-led government in Aruchal Pradesh is working to boost the GDP through various sectors such as agriculture, horticulture tourism and hydro power.

He said the State government is taking many initiatives for the progressive farmers. The State government has also launched the Organic Mission in 2017.

Recently the State Assembly has passed the Land Acquisition Act, which would open the corridor for outsiders to invest in the State of Aruchal Pradesh, he added.

Maj on behalf of the entrepreneurs and progressive farmers of the State requested the MNCs to invest in Aruchal Pradesh. Further he also appealed to the Chief Minister of Aruchal Pradesh to conduct an intertiol-business meeting in Itagar.
