Man allegedly commits suicide by jumping of Meghdoot Bhawan Building in Guwahati

Guwahati: A person found dead under mysterious circumstances inside the campus of Meghdoot Bhawan in Guwahati on Wednesday afternoon at around 1.15 pm.

As per reports, the body of the person has not been ascertained by the Pan Bazaar Police.

Speaking to the media, the on-duty home guard (name withheld) said that he heard some sound and immediately rushed to the spot and found a person lying unconscious on the ground. Later, he discovered that he was dead.

Few of the eyewitnesses also claimed that the person might have committed suicide by jumping from the top floor of the Meghdoot Bhawan.

The body of the person was later taken to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) but was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Meanwhile, the body was taken to Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem.
