JOYSAGAR, May 6: Sariful Islam (35), a contractor of Nitaipukhuri under Sivasagar district was arrested by Nitaipukhuri Police on Saturday. As per information, the accused had allegedly sexually harassed a woman in the Rajabari area under Sivasagar Police Station on Friday night. Following the FIR lodged by the family members of the victim, police booked Sariful on Saturday. One Abdul Halim (38) of Rajabari was also allegedly involved in the crime but he was able to flee, sources revealed.
