Man Identified as Nitin Singh Rajput Arrested for Duping Woman

GUWAHATI: The All Woman Police, Pan Bazaar arrested one identified as Nitin Singh Rajput on Thursday in connection with All Woman PS Case No. 83/18 u/s-354 (D) IPC, R/W sec 67 of IT Act. According to police source, accused Nitin tried to lure a married woman on the pretext of giving job in the Social Welfare Department pretending that he is the PA to Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma. He was trying to call the victim to a city hotel alone for some vested interest and when she denied he threatened her of dire consequences on Whatsapp.
