Man killed in Biswanath for cash Rs 1500, Body recovered in backyard of toilet

Biswanath: In a sensational incident, a person was brutally murdered with a machete at Dofola Kota of Pawe Tea Estate under Biswanath District on Friday evening.

The deceased person was identified as Suben Khudal was allegedly killed by Ratan Khudal, Durjon Khudal, Deston Khudal on Friday night.

As per sources, the person was allegedly murdered for cash Rs 1500.

Speaking to The Sentinel Digital, the officer in charge, Biswanath Police Station, Anju Goswami said that Suben was reported to be missing since last January 30. “Today in the wee hours, when local people along with family members of Suben Khudal interrogated Ratan Khudal, the entire mystery came into light,” said OC Anju Goswami.

Locals thrashed the three alleged murderers severely following the recovery of the body, stated OC Anju further.

OC Goswami also mentioned that the body, shoes and a machete were recovered from the backyard of the toilet. “Both the body and the weapon were buried in the backyard of the toilet,” added OC Goswami.

It may be mentioned that the investigation is under process and so far no case has been registered officially against the alleged murderers.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased Suben Khudal has been sent for post mortem.
