Massive Fire breaks down at DC office in Jorhat, Several important documents gutted

Jorhat: A massive fire breaks down in Jorhat Deputy Commissioner's office on Tuesday morning at around 10 am.

As per initial reports by the security officials at the DC office, the fire broke out due to a short circuit.

Several important documents of Planning and Development Branch gutted during the fire incident. No casualties have been reported during the incident.

Following the incident, security officials at the Deputy Commissioner's office informed the fire tenders.

Fire tenders along with SDRF personnel rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
