Meet On Setting Up Treasury Office At Kajalgaon Organized

Kokrajhar: A meeting for discussion in connection with the establishment of new treasury office at Kajalgaon was held on Friday in the conference hall of the DC, Chirang. This was informed by the DIPRO, Chirang, Gagan Chandra Narzary.

The meeting, which was chaired by Chirang Deputy Commissioner Gautam Talukdar, took views from the officers present of the district line departments and discussed regarding the volume of annual transactions, both receipt and expenditure, and number of Central and State government officials in the district. The Deputy Commissioner informed the house about the steps being taken by them on the matter, including availability of land position, for the same office at Kajolgaon.

The meeting was also attended by ADCs Biswajit Goswami, Karmadev Brahma, SDO (S) Jayanta Sarkar and the officials of civil and paramilitary forces.
