Meeting in connection with NERPAP at Haflong

Haflong, March 20: A meeting was convened at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Haflong in connection with tiol Electoral Rolls Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPAP) today. Election Officer Deepak Jidung presided over the meeting which discussed about the various objectives of the tiol Electoral Rolls Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPAP) which was launched by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi on March 3. In the meeting, authentication of EPIC data of electors, correction of age, improvement of image quality, etc., were discussed to make the electoral roll error free. The members present were also apprised about a special awareness camp to be held on April 12. The meeting was attended by all assistant electoral registration officers of 16-HAflong (ST) LAC, government officers, representatives of political parties and media personnel.
