Mega Dental Camp Held In Satsobigha Char of Bongaigaon By Boat Clinic

PATHSALA: A mega dental health camp was conducted in Satsobigha char of Bongaigaon by boat clinic and National Oral Health Programme on the occasion of the anniversary of dental service in boat clinic. In the awareness programme, Dr Rubi Kataki, State nodal officer, NOHP, elaborated on various aspects of the National Oral Health Programme. She also emphasized preventive on of tobacco and related products among teenagers.

Dr Debashree Choudhury, District Oral Health Officer, Bongaigaon, and Dr Rupam C.houdhury, visiting the dental surgeon to boat clinic, also elaborated on various aspects of oral health. Since 2017, the dental unit of the boat clinic has served more than 2,500 deprived patients of these char areas of Bongaigaon through the initiative of Dr. Rupam Choudhury. Recently along with the entire State, the boat clinic dental service also received new dimension through the active initiative of Dr.Rubi Kataki, State Nodal Officer, NOHP.
